Going to Asheville Quilt Festival in Aug 2011. This week I commissioned Mickey Lawler, of Skydyes,to paint for the guild a sky and mountain background we need for our Asheville quilt that depicts a fiber art representation of an aerial view of the 3 and .5 mile gold deposit, the largest in the world, in the State of Utah. In addition, I e-mailed the illustration to Jeanette of Jeanette Fabrics to die for.com She will be doing all the dyeing for the project. We need plenty of dyed metallic gold fabrics. |
